Pythons Decimates Monrovia Pistons 80-34

Despite coming off a hard fought victory, Pythons was not taking anything to chance. From the dressing room the mindset was to send a statement to the rest of the league. That their victory over Oilers was not a fluke.

Monrovia Pistons on the other other hand, came with a revamped squad from last year. With many recruits, and most facing Pythons for the first time, it was expected they would come with a fight.

The first quarter was a drag for the defending champions. Probably cause they were fatigue from last night game or they knew no matter what they would beat the Pistons.

-The first quarter ended 7-17. Pistons came fighting back in the second quarter but the duo of Emmanuel Paye and Captain Joel Martor held them abbey as Pythons took the quarter 14-25.

The Second half saw Pythons stepping up the defense yet again holding Pistons to 8pts while they raked in 26pts, highest of all the quarters.

With the game far beyond reach, the second string played the full fourth quarter, although they missed a lot of easy baskets, their defense held Pistons to 5pts in that quarter.

Next match is against Bushrod Bulls on Sunday at 6PM. Can the defending champs make it three in row? Don’t be told, be there!!!!
